Waking up in the morning can be a difficult task for a lot of people. Many times, you may find that you have woken up just because you need to, but your body just will not co operate. Here are some simple exercises that you can do in the morning to help you shape up for the day ahead.
Stand with your feet apart at shoulder distance. Stretch your arms way out towards the ceiling. Now bend the knees and drop down towards the floor. Swing your arms behind your legs. Come back to starting position and repeat this about five times.
Stand with your feet about tow or three feet apart. Make sure your bottom is tucked in, and your back is straight. Stretch the left arm over your head as far to the right as you can, and hold this position for about tewnty counts. Come back to starting position and bend towards the other side with the other hand. You must do at least ten repetitions of this.
Stand straight with your feet apart at a distance of about three feet. Make sure they turn outwards. Bend your knees and gently push your body down as far as possible, keeping your knees pushed directly over the feet. Bounce gently in this position, and then hold the position for ten counts. Stand straight again and do the same routine three times.
Standing with your feet at a distance of three feet, swing your right arm down to your left ankle. Try and keep your legs as straight as you can, as this will give your hamstrings a good stretch. Bounce ten times, and hold this position for five counts. Now stand straight and bend over to the other side, repeating the bounces and holding the position here as well. Do this five times on each side.
These exercises will shape the body, and also make it very flexible. You will find yourself feeling very refreshed, and feel less stiff through the day. If you practice this for about ten days, you will actually start looking forward to waking up and working out each morning.
