An aerobic workout should not last more than thirty minutes as it can be quite vigorous and exhausting. A six to seven minute warm up at the beginning is important. It will slowly increase your heart rate. As you start your work out, it will go faster and faster as it will include skipping, jumping, step ups and knee lifts.

The important thing to remember while doing an aerobic workout is to breathe deeply and keep your back erect at all times. if the exercise involves a lot of jumping, make sure the knees are slightly bent to avoid injury.

Your heart rate during the workout will be quite high, so never stop the workout abruptly. Start slowing down your workout in the last ten minutes so as to allow your heart and pule rate to gradually come back to normal.

It is easy to follow and rarely requires any apparatus, so you can even practice this at home. It is not as effective when you are doing aerobic at home, but you can safely do a few practice sessions to keep the momentum going.
