Following A Proper Diet:

A proper diet is the most important criteria for building muscles and gaining strength. You should consume high amounts of calories so that they can be utilized for building stronger muscle mass.

Your diet should include protein (like-meat, eggs, fish, etc.), fat (like-ghee, butter, nuts, etc.), milk products, whole grains (like-rice, wheat, bread, corn, etc.), milk products, fibrous fruits and vegetables. You should also drink plenty of water in order to balance the calorie intake.

Practicing Energy Building Exercises:

Energy building exercises are similar to cardio-vascular exercises. These are important as they help in increasing the body stamina as well as muscle strength. You can perform exercises like lunges and stairs climbing along with simple cardio like running, skipping, swimming, etc.

Lunges are exercises, which require fast and wide movements of legs while keeping the head and back straight. As you move one of your legs forward, make sure that the other leg bends and almost touches the ground with its knee.

You can even climb up and down the stairs in full speed in order to enhance your muscle strength.

Practicing Exercises Using Body Weight:

Body strength can be increased effectively by using your own body weight. These exercises put enough pressure on the respective tissues and thus, boost higher physical stamina.

Some of the typical exercises include pull-ups, push-ups, crunches, squats, calf rising, tent-push-ups, etc. Pull-up exercises are very important for strengthening the back muscles as well as the hand muscles.

Push-ups and tent push-ups are very effective on the body parts like chest, shoulders, back, legs and arms. Crunches are exercises, which help in making your abs strong. You can practice squats and calf rising exercises for strengthening your legs and calves respectively.

Intensifying The Exercises:

You can definitely intensify the exercises in order to increase your muscle strength. You can practice exercises like pull-ups, push-ups by using one hand and squats by using one leg. The body weight is concentrated on a smaller area and therefore, exerts greater pressure on the muscles.

Practicing Exercises Using Ordinary Household Items:

You can practice certain exercises by using ordinary household items. They can easily compensate the application of weights. For example, you can perform supine pull-ups by using chairs and broomstick. You can also use water-filled bottles, heavy books, heavy cans, etc. instead of weights. These alternative items are easily available and mostly affordable.

Thus, you can definitely become stronger by following proper diet and exercise techniques. However, you should not put excessive pressure on your muscles as it may harm your body.
