With A Fitness Ball
Fitness ball is perfect for supporting your body while stretching and can be used in various ways. You can perform back bending exercise with the help of a fitness ball.
For this, you will have to sit straight on a ball and keep your feet flat on the ground. Now, push yourself behind and try to touch your back with the ball. Then, slowly move your arms behind to touch the ground and stay in that position for 20-30 seconds.
Lat stretching exercise can also be preformed while lying on your side on the ball. You can first lie on your right side and place your hip and waist on the ball and the left leg behind the right leg for proper support.
You should extend your right arm above your head and touch the ground. Now, try to stretch your body further and remain in that position for 20-30 seconds. Repeat the exercise with your left side.
Using Your Upper Body
Most of the stretching exercises are done while using the upper body. For the first exercise, you should lie on your stomach and keep your palms beside your chest.
Now, try to lift your body upwards from the torso region while straightening your elbows and stay in this position for 20-30 seconds. You should try to push your shoulder inwards for better grip.
You should stand straight and lift your hands up while touching the ears with your elbows. Now, try to lean backwards in order to stretch your abs muscles while inhaling and return to normal while exhaling. Repeat the process for about 10-15 times.
You will have to lie on your back on the floor and place your arm at your side. Now, try to raise your upper body till your waist in order to practice stretching.
You will have to kneel down on the ground in order to do this exercise. You can place your palms on the hips or fold them in front and lean behind slowly as much as you can stretch.
Using Your Lower Body
There are few stretching exercises, which can be done while using your lower body.
You should lie on the floor with your back touching the ground. Now, try to fold the knees till your chest and stay in that position for 20-30 seconds.
You can also move both the knees on either side of your body in order to stretch your side abs.
Stretching exercises are useful for making the abs and stomach muscles flexible. However, extensive stretching can lead to tear of the muscles.
