Tips On Slimmer Thighs

It is not that men do not want their extra thigh fat removed and thus own a well-shaped slimmed pair of thighs, but it is seen mostly that women yearn for the same, more.Extra weight/fat on thighs is not uncommon. It is common but not many people do anything to get rid of that extra bit.

Although it does not look as bad as the extra pounds, which add to your abdominal area, but can turn into a formidable nuisance. Especially women will be fidgety because they will find it difficult to fit into slimmer and more beautiful clothing.

It may also create a problem in your walking and other postures. So, how should you go about getting your top shape back? Well we are here to discuss the same.

Diet

Weight and/or fat reduction is not only achieved by exercising but also by following a balanced diet. Therefore, you have to start eating healthier. Calculating and controlling the daily calorie intake is advised, but is not mandatory.

Just gobble on the food items, which are rich in protein, vitamins, fiber and un-saturated fats. Deter from having dense amount of foods containing saturated fats and sugar. Drink plenty of water.

Avoid fast foods, processed, packed and canned foods.Also, stay far away from over-cooked and re-cooked foods. When you eat is as important as what you eat.

Instead of eating 3 meals a day, try having 5-6 meals a day.You are probably used to eat large portions during the 3-time meals, but now start eating small meals with richer content.

Cardiovascular Exercises

There is nothing even close to comparison to cardiovascular exercises, when it comes to trimming and burning of fats. Cardiovascular exercises work to increase your heartbeat and thus increasing the blood flow all over your body.This makes all the cells in your body all worked up and thus the fat cells start to slim.

Choose a cardiovascular exercise that mainly focuses on your lower body. Here are some cardiovascular exercises you can choose from: Sprinting, kickboxing, cycling, climbing stairs, inclined plane climbing, etc. Try to perform this exercise 5-6 days in a week,if you feel that is impossible take the number down to 3-4 times a week and a time span of 35-50 minutes.

Exercises You Should Follow To Have Trimmed Thighs:

Squats

It is a very commonly used and highly effective exercise. The exercise is for the whole of the lower body but mainly focuses on the thighs. Stand straight with the legs shoulder width apart (if you have dumbbells hold them in your limply hanging hands, by your sides).

Now slowly, while exhaling, lower your body. Try to maintain straightness along your back, without forcing. Lower your body to the point where the thighs are parallel to the floor. Stay in this position for 1-2 seconds and then lift yourself up (while inhaling). Repeat 8-12 times and a set of 3.

Lunges

Where there are squats there is lunges. Stand straight (like you did when doing squats); now slowly take a medium to big step forward with one leg. Do not proceed with the other leg.

Lower your body to the point where the thigh of the extended leg is parallel to the floor and the other leg’s knee slightly above the floor. Stay for 1-2 seconds and then lift up to return to original position.

Repeat with the other leg and a total of 8-12 times; perform a set of 3. These are the cherries from the top of the list of the exercises, which will tone your thighs. Some others are leg lifts, butt lifts, kicks, etc.
